What Happens After I Order Flat Fee
|
- You will receive an e-mail confirmation within a few minutes of your flat fee package order.
- One of our network real estate agents will send you an additional e-mail within a few hours with the listing agreement and agency disclosure forms attached. A follow-up phone call will ensure that you have received these items.
- These documents must be completed, signed, and faxed before your home can be listed. In the listing agreement, be sure to include the commission you are offering to the buyer's agent.
- The standard commission is 2-3%. We highly recommend offering 3% so that real estate agents have full incentive to bring you a buyer.
- Send your digital photos by e-mailing them as .jpg files (ideally 640x480 pixels) or by mailing a CD.
- Your property will be listed in the appropriate MLS and Realtor.com within 48 hours of the return of all your completed paperwork.
- Your agent will forward any inquires about your property to you and keep your listing current on the MLS.
- To find, print brochures, and view your listing, go to Realtor.com and under Find a Home, click Advanced Search. At the bottom of the page, type in your MLS ID number to find your home.
- Your home selling supplies (yard sign, lockbox, & brochure box) will be shipped to the specified address within 3-5 business days.
- You will receive a copy of your MLS listing to double check for accuracy.
- Real estate agents who view your listing on the MLS will start contacting you to discuss details about your home and to set up showings for their potential buyers.
- Because of additional exposure on the other MLS-affiliated Websites, including Realtor.com, interested buyers with and without agents will contact you.
- You may handle the negotiations and contracts yourself, or for a fee we can assist you. Contact us today for more details.
