What Is a Rebate Commission Program?

Our home rebate program is a great way to put money in your pocket or towards closing costs when purchasing a home.  The home rebate is derived from a 6% commission that is paid by the seller in a home sales transaction. When you sign up with one of our network licensed real estate agents, 3% of that 6% commission will be received by your assigned real estate agent. We then give you, in the form of a rebate check or a credit towards closing costs 50% of that 3% commission.

You never pay any commission to us!

After you've found a home you’re interested in buying, your assigned real estate agent will place your offer, help negotiate counteroffers, get an acceptance of contract, complete legal forms, and schedule your closing.

An MLS flat fee listing is a program that allows your home to be listed on the MLS and many other public Websites, such as Realtor.com, for a flat fee.  Our network of licensed real estate agents only charge a flat fee of $395 to place your home on the MLS instead of charging a commission, which typically is 6% of the selling price of the home.  If a buyer’s real estate agent sells your home, you will only have to pay a 3% commission to the buyer's real estate agent.  Sometimes there is not a buyer’s real estate agent and the flat fee of $395 ends up being the total cost to sell your home.

According to the National Association of Realtors® in 2007, "90% of all homes sold nationwide were a direct result of the MLS."  Research has shown that MLS listings are the most effective way to market and sell your home.  Our flat fee program is very cost-effective because you are getting all the marketing services that “traditional agents” use for a much lower cost. 

HomeJumpers helps For Sale By Owners by placing your home on the MLS and many other Websites.  Potential buyers will be able to find your home through Internet searches or by our customized yard sign with your name and phone number on it.  They will contact you directly, saving you thousands in commissions.
